Advanced Data Center Switching (ADCX)

This two-day course is designed to introduce various QFX5k and MX/vMX features including, but not limited to, IP Fabric, Virtual eXtensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) Layer 2 and Layer 3 Gateways, VXLAN with Ethernet VPN (EVPN) signaling, and Data Center Interconnect (DCI) for a VXLAN overlay. Students will learn to configure and monitor these features that exist on the Junos operating system running on the QFX5100 and vMX Series platform. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience configuring, monitoring, and analyzing the above features of the Junos OS. This course is based on Junos OS Release 14.1X53. Intended Audience This course benefits individuals responsible for configuring and monitoring switching features that exist on the Junos OS running on the QFX5k and MX Series platforms, including individuals in professional services, sales and support organizations, and the end users. 

Advanced Junos Enterprise Routing (AJER)

This three-day course is designed to provide students with the tools required for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Layer 3 components in an enterprise network. Detailed coverage of OSPF, BGP, class of service (CoS), and multicast is strongly emphasized. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Switching (AJEX)

This two-day course provides detailed coverage of virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), authentication and access control for Layer 2 networks, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS), and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches.

Advanced Junos Service Provider Routing (AJSPR)

AJSPR is an advanced-level course. This four-day course is designed to provide students with detailed coverage of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and routing policy. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This advanced course provides Java programmers a deep-dive into Hadoop application development. Students will learn how to design and develop efficient and effective MapReduce applications for Hadoop using the Hortonworks Data Platform, including how to implement combiners, partitioners, secondary sorts, custom input and output formats, joining large datasets, unit testing, and developing UDFs for Pig and Hive. Labs are run on a 7-node cluster running in a virtual machine that students can keep for use after the training.

Juniper Configuring Juniper Networks Firewall/IPsec VPN Products (CJFV)

This course is the first in the ScreenOS curriculum. It is a three-day, instructor-led course that focuses on configuration of the ScreenOS firewall/virtual private network (VPN) products in a variety of situations, including basic administrative access, routing, firewall policies and policy options, attack prevention features, address translation, and VPN implementations. This course combines both lecture and labs, with significant time allocated for hands-on experience. Students completing this course should be confident in their ability to configure ScreenOS firewall/VPN products in a wide range of installations. This course is based on ScreenOS version 6.3r14.
